My Ph.D research at Department of Computing, City University, London has started on November 2004. I am a member of the Software Engineering Group. My PhD research is joinly supervised by Dr. George Spanoudakis, and Dr. Andrea Zisman. The main goal of my research is, by applying a run-time monitoring architecture on a system, to check whether the security requirements of the system can be met effectively. In case of a security violation, the monitoring results are processed and analysed for serving diagnostic purposes. The diagnostic task has as a goal to highlight the system part (component or group of components), which had an unexpected behaviour. Thus, the cause of the security violation can be spotted.
