QIF PhD Studentships

Applications are invited for three PhD studentships, one at each of the
above London universities, as part of the project
Quantitative Information Flow, funded by EPSRC.
Start date: between October 2005 and October 2006, according to the
availability of the candidate.
Duration: three years.
Relevant research areas for these studentships are:
- language based security
- program analysis
- abstract interpretation
- information theory
These EPSRC studentships cover all university fees at the Home (EU)
rate, and provide a tax free
student stipend in the range £13,600 - £14,300 per year.
Applicants will need to satisfy the selection criteria for PhD
students in computer science at the host institution.
