Dr Peter W.H. Smith MSc(Essex) PhD(Leeds) IM(ICCF) I am a senior lecturer in the Department of Computing, part of the School of Informatics at City University.

Research Interests

  2. Sentiment Analysis and Text Mining
  3. Business Intelligence
  4. Evolutionary Computing

My Part I Maths with Computing Course taught to First year Undergraduate students, ably assisted by Charlie Watson was awarded the First Prize in The City University Moodle Launch Award for The School of Informatics.


Other interests

I used to play chess for many years. I represented England 3 times in the European Team Championships.
