09:00 - 09:45	plenary session / keynote address introductions by leaders of 10 parallel workshops
09:45 - 10:30	geovisualization workshop : introductions and short statements by participants (2 minutes each; no PowerPoints; based upon prepared statements / questions)
10:30 - 12:00	groupwork! each group identifies one core topic and one key challenge groups report back to the geovisualization workshop collective discussion and agreement on three most significant topics / challenges three groups work on most significant topics / challenges and identify key research goal
12:00 - 12:30	group presentations / progress reports
12:30 - 14:00	working lunch : further discussion
14:00 - 14:15	plenary session / keynote address
14:15 - 16:15	refinement of research goals; response to plenary feedback how to spend $10 million! research sub-goals; practical steps; barriers to success
16:30 - 17:30	plenary panel discussion : session leaders
19:00 - 21:00	social event : apero
