YEAR II, Semesters 1 and 2
Students study an additional two elective modules, chosen from the list available here. Part-time students will study the core modules Culture Policy and Management and Cultural Portfolio on a day release basis - it is anticipated these will be timetabled on Wednesdays across semesters 1 and 2.

Additionally, part-time students will study their two elective modules, a full list of which is available here, in year 2.

  • As advertised on our course content page students are required to study six core modules from either option group A or B (two modules, Culture Policy and Management and Cultural Portfolio belong to both option groups). Additional to these six modules, students are required to study two electives (full-time students taking these in the second semester, and part-time students taking these in the second semester of the second year), the full list of which is available here.

  • Full-time students are expected to be able to attend the University at any time between 09:00 and 18:00 on weekdays when classes may be scheduled.

  • Part-time students are expected to study four modules in the first year, and a further four in the second year (as outlined below). The course is run on a 'day-release' basis (i.e. part-time students are expected to attend University during the day, one day a week).

  • Note: The University reserves the right to make changes to syllabuses, programme options and modules as necessary.
